## How to do it in Vela

1. **Press Replay.** Open any chart, press Replay and pick the start bar. Everything after it stays hidden until the replay reaches it.
2. **Play it forward.** Playback starts at 5x. Change the speed from the replay bar, pause with Space, step with Shift and the right arrow, and switch timeframes without losing your place.
3. **Trade it as it plays.** Buy and Sell sit on the replay bar, on an account of its own that starts at $100,000. Drag a stop loss and take profit out of the position’s line.
4. **Read the results card.** Net P&L, the equity curve, win rate, profit factor, expectancy and every trade, the moment the replay ends.

Q: Is TradingView Bar Replay free?
A: On Vela, Replay is free on every plan, minute charts included, with a free account. On TradingView, Bar Replay and trading inside it are on every plan, but on the free Basic plan the replay covers daily bars and up: minute history starts at Essential, with 180 days.

Q: Can I practice trading in replay?
