The Breaker Blocks + Order Blocks OverLap ICT BBOB tool identifies high-probability reversal zones by detecting the intersection of supply/demand order blocks and market structure breaker blocks. It provides traders with refined key levels where institutional interest and market shifts align, enhancing precision in technical analysis.

Usage

The script automatically plots Order Blocks (OB), Breaker Blocks (BB), and the unique Overlapping Blocks (BBOB).

  • Identifying the Overlap: Look for the specific "BBOB" zones where an active Order Block and a Breaker Block occupy the same price range. These represent areas of high-interest confluence.
  • Trade Confirmation: When price enters an Overlapping Block, look for secondary price action confirmation such as pin bars or engulfing candles.
  • Bullish Scenario: A bullish BBOB occurs when a previous bearish order block is broken (becoming a breaker) and aligns with a new bullish order block.
  • Bearish Scenario: A bearish BBOB occurs when a previous bullish order block is breached and overlaps with a new bearish supply zone.
  • Risk Management: Traders often place stop-loss orders just outside the distal (far) edge of the identified block to manage risk.

Details

The indicator is built upon the Inner Circle Trader (ICT) concepts of market structure. Order Blocks represent zones where high-volume participants have previously placed orders, leading to significant moves. Breaker Blocks represent failed order blocks where price has trended through the zone, flipping its role from support to resistance (or vice-versa).

The BBOB concept introduces a logic layer that calculates the intersection of these two zones. By focusing on the "Overlapping Block," the script filters out weaker zones and highlights areas where the market has shown both historical institutional commitment and a successful structural break.

FAQ

How can I use this for entries? Wait for price to return to a highlighted BBOB zone and look for a reaction. If the zone holds and price moves in the anticipated direction, it serves as a high-confluence entry point.

Can I set alerts for these zones? Yes, the script includes alert functionality for Overlapping Block mitigation, allowing you to be notified when price touches these key areas.
