A Transient Zone is defined by a central bar that is the highest or lowest within a specific window of time. This window is split into "H Left" (the bars preceding the extreme) and "H Right" (the bars following the extreme). Because the indicator requires "H Right" bars to pass before confirming a zone, the TZ arrows are plotted with an offset to reflect the exact historical bar where the extreme occurred.

A Potential Transient Zone (PTZ) is detected instantly when a bar exceeds the highest high or lowest low of the "H Left" period. This provides a leading signal that a new structure might be developing before it is eventually confirmed as a TZ or invalidated by further expansion.

• H left: Sets the number of bars to the left (lookback) used to determine if a bar is a local extreme.
• H right: Sets the number of bars to the right (lookforward) required to confirm a bar as a true Transient Zone.
• Sample bars for % TZ: Defines the lookback period used to calculate the probability statistics for TZ and PTZ occurrences.
• Show PTZ: Toggles the visibility of real-time Potential Transient Zone triangle markers.
• Show channel: Displays the upper and lower boundaries based on the "H left" period, visualizing the current breakout levels.

How do I interpret the percentage values in the data window? The "Total TZ %" and "Total PTZ %" represent the frequency of these events relative to the sample period, while the "PTZ Resolved %" indicates the historical probability that a signal will transition from a potential zone to a confirmed one.

Why do the TZ arrows appear several bars late? TZ arrows represent confirmed structural extremes. By definition, a point cannot be confirmed as a local high or low until a specific number of subsequent bars (defined by the "H Right" setting) fail to exceed that point.
