The Pulse Scalper indicator provides a multi-confluence scalping framework designed to detect high-probability entries by requiring agreement between four independent technical engines. It integrates trend structure, momentum energy, volume pressure, and institutional value bias to minimize market noise and identify robust trade setups.

Usage

The Usage section describes how the script can be used to navigate intraday market conditions. Traders typically use the indicator to identify scalping opportunities on low timeframes (1m to 15m) for assets such as crypto, forex, gold, and indices.

  • Entry Signals: Bullish (upward triangle) and bearish (downward triangle) signals appear when the confluence score meets the user-defined threshold (default 3 of 4). The score is printed on the label to indicate signal conviction.
  • Squeeze Detection: An orange background tint identifies periods where Bollinger Bands compress within Keltner Channels, signaling a period of volatility contraction often preceding significant breakouts.
  • Trend Filtering: The ADX filter suppresses signals during choppy, sideways markets. Traders should look for the "✓ ACTIVE" status on the dashboard to confirm the market is trending sufficiently.
  • Exit Strategy: The system plots dynamic exit levels upon entry. Traders can use the initial Stop Loss (SL) for risk protection, TP1 for scaling out 50% of the position, and TP2 for a full exit. The orange Trailing Stop line follows price movement to lock in profits during extended trends.

Details

The script utilizes a 4-Layer Confluence Engine to generate signals:

  1. EMA Ribbon: Uses triple EMA alignment (Fast, Slow, Signal) to confirm the structural trend.
  2. Squeeze Momentum: Based on TTM Squeeze principles, it measures volatility envelopes and linear regression momentum to capture the energy behind price moves.
  3. Volume Delta: Estimates buying and selling pressure using candle close positioning and OBV slope to ensure capital flow supports the price direction.
  4. VWAP Deviation: References Volume Weighted Average Price with standard deviation bands to prevent entering overextended moves near exhaustion zones.

A live scoring gate tallies "votes" from these layers. Signals only trigger on the specific bar where the confluence threshold is first reached, ensuring distinct entry events rather than repetitive signals during a single trend run.

Settings

  • EMA Ribbon: Configures Fast, Slow, and Signal EMA periods and visibility.
  • Squeeze Momentum: Adjusts Bollinger Band and Keltner Channel lengths/multipliers for volatility detection.
  • Volume Delta: Sets the smoothing period for volume estimates and OBV slope lookback.
  • VWAP: Toggles the VWAP filter and standard deviation band multipliers.
  • Confluence Gate: Defines the minimum number of layers (2–4) required for a signal and manages the session filter window.
  • ADX Filter: Sets the lookback and minimum threshold to gate signals based on trend strength.
  • Exit Settings: Controls ATR-based calculations for Stop Loss, TP1, TP2, and the dynamic Trailing Stop.
  • Display/Colors: Manages dashboard positioning, signal labels, and the visual theme for bullish, bearish, and neutral states.

FAQ

How do I interpret the confluence score?
The score (e.g., 3/4 or 4/4) indicates how many of the four internal engines agree on the trade direction. A 4/4 score represents maximum confluence and the highest conviction.

Why are there no signals appearing on my chart?
Signals may be suppressed if the market is in a low-volatility range (ADX below threshold), if the current time is outside the defined Session Filter window, or if the confluence score has not reached the required minimum.
