The The Boy Plunger | Anonycryptous indicator provides a comprehensive confluence-based trading framework that integrates Jesse Livermore’s structural philosophy with modern volume analysis and multi-timeframe confirmation. It filters noise by requiring price to pass through specific "gates"—including structural levels, volume spikes, and trend alignment—before generating high-conviction breakout signals.

Usage

The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify high-probability setups. The indicator employs a unique three-state "Waiting Zone" system to guide traders through the lifecycle of a trade:

  • Scanning: Price is away from key levels; the UI remains dimmed to encourage patience.
  • Watching: Price enters a proximity zone (based on ATR) near a higher timeframe (HTF) level. The level turns gold, signaling the trader to prepare.
  • Confirmed: A signal fires only when a breakout occurs with confirmed volume and candle body conviction.

Signal Presets

The indicator includes seven modular presets to adapt to different trading styles:

  • Livermore: A pure implementation using structural levels and volume without moving average filters.
  • Boy Plunger: An intraday adaptation using a Hull Moving Average (HMA) "Silk Ribbon" gate for faster timeframes.
  • Balanced: The recommended starting point, requiring trend, level, and volume alignment.
  • FVG Entry: Integrates Fair Value Gaps for modern institutional order flow confirmation.
  • Custom: Allows users to manually toggle specific confluence gates.

Trade Management

When a signal is confirmed, the Trade Block automatically locks onto the chart, displaying the entry price, stop-loss (ATR or Swing-based), and three Take Profit (TP) targets. The dashboard provides real-time win rate metrics and TP progress tracking.

Details

The script is constructed using several specialized engines:

  • Silk Ribbon: A multi-strand moving average system (EMA, HMA, DEMA, TEMA, or ZLEMA) used to define the macro trend.
  • HTF Levels: Uses request.security to pull pivot points from higher timeframes, ensuring structural levels are contextually relevant.
  • Volume Engine: Calculates volume spikes relative to an SMA and filters candles based on the "Body Ratio" to ensure conviction.
  • Ghost Candles: Projects HTF candle structures to the right of the current price for multi-timeframe context without switching tabs.
  • Failed Breakout Detection: Automatically identifies and marks "bull/bear traps" where price breaks a level but immediately reverses.

Settings

Signal & Gates

  • Signal gate preset: Choose from 7 predefined logic sets.
  • Gate Toggles: Manually enable/disable Trend, Level, Volume, or Body gates (Custom mode).
  • Signal cooldown: Sets the minimum number of bars between signals to prevent overtrading.
  • Require pullback: A filter that waits for price to retest the ribbon before confirming an entry.

Visual & Structural

  • HTF timeframe: Set the period for structural pivot levels (e.g., 4H levels on a 15m chart).
  • Silk Ribbon Periods: Adjust the fast and slow periods for the trend-following ribbon.
  • Volume Multiplier: Defines the threshold for a "spike" (e.g., 1.5x average volume).
  • HTF Ghost Candles: Configure the number and timeframe of candles projected on the chart.

Risk & Dashboard

  • SL Source: Toggle between ATR-based, Swing-high/low, or Hybrid stop-loss placement.
  • TP Multiples: Set the Risk:Reward ratios for the three take-profit targets.
  • Dashboard Position: Adjust the UI placement and size.

FAQ

How do I interpret the "Watching" state? The "Watching" state occurs when price enters a pre-defined ATR distance from a Higher Timeframe level. It is not a signal to trade, but a visual alert that the market is at a "decisive point" where a Livermore-style breakout may soon occur.

Why are no signals appearing on my chart? If signals are sparse, it is likely due to the strict confluence gates. Ensure the price trend matches your signal direction, volume is significantly above average, and the breakout candle has a large body relative to its wicks. You can use the "Sensitive" preset to lower these requirements.
