# Fibonacci Toolkit

Fibonacci Toolkit is an indicator on [Vela](https://vela.luxalgo.com/chart), our next-generation charting platform, written in Pine Script®.

The Fibonacci Toolkit packs six Fibonacci drawing tools into one indicator: retracements, arcs, circles, fans, timezones, and spirals, all calculated from a single pair of user-set anchor points. A drop-down menu switches between tools and the default ratios remain adjustable, making it a complete Fibonacci workbench for support, resistance, and timing analysis.

**Fibonacci Toolkit** gathers six Fibonacci drawing tools into a single indicator: [retracements](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/fib-retracement/), arcs, circles, fans, timezones, and spirals. Set one starting point and one ending point on the chart and every tool calculates from that same pair of anchors, so switching perspectives never means redrawing your analysis from scratch.

## How to Trade the Fibonacci Toolkit?

- **Retracements**: horizontal levels built from the chosen price points and ratios, the classic grid for locating potential support and resistance.
- **Arcs**: semi-circles intersecting the anchor line at ratio-based percentages, offering support and resistance that curves through time.
- **Circles**: the full-circle extension of arcs, drawing complete rings where price rebounds can be anticipated.
- **Fan**: trendlines radiating from a single point at ratio-determined positions, sloped levels for tracking direction and spotting reversal points.
- **Timezones**: a sequence of lines whose spacing grows with the Fibonacci sequence, used to anticipate when a trend reversal may be due rather than where.
- **Spiral**: a growth curve defined by the golden ratio, drawn through three and a half turns from the endpoint, its height set by the two anchor prices.

The arcs, circles, and fan belong to the family of [Fibonacci geometry](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/fib-geometry-tools/) tools: levels that bend or slope through price and time instead of sitting flat.

## What the Fibonacci Toolkit Shows

Only one tool displays at a time: pick it from the drop-down in the settings, and adjust the default Fibonacci ratios there to match your workflow. Everything is computed from the two user-set anchor points, which keeps each tool consistent with the others. One practical note: the spiral can show visual artifacts when fitted to certain assets such as stocks and forex pairs.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Do all six tools share the same anchors?

Yes. The starting and ending points you set drive the calculations for whichever tool is selected, so you can flip between retracements, arcs, or the spiral and compare their read of the same swing instantly.

### Which tool helps with timing instead of price levels?

The timezones. Their spacing expands along the Fibonacci sequence, marking moments where a trend reversal becomes more likely, a complement to the price-based tools rather than a substitute.

### How do I access the Fibonacci Toolkit, and is there a diagonal version?

The toolkit is free on the LuxAlgo Library and can be opened in Quant, our coding agent, from this page. For an automatic lattice of 45-degree diagonal levels, the [Fibonacci Grid](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/indicator/fibonacci-grid/) builds one from a lookback window instead of manual anchors. You can also copy the source code from this page and run it anywhere Pine Script® runs.
