# MA Sabres MA Sabres is an indicator on [Vela](https://vela.luxalgo.com/chart), our next-generation charting platform, written in Pine Script®. Monitors the slope of a chosen moving average and, when a persistent run finally flips direction, projects a curved sabre from the latest extreme. Each blade's angle scales with 14-period ATR volatility and serves as support or resistance, a breakout line, and a stop-loss marker. The blade projects forward as a reversal marker that doubles as a support and resistance curve and a breakout trigger. Blade geometry carries information. A sabre's length follows the MA length setting, while its angle is set by the Average True Range of the prior 14 periods. The angle derives from the prior 14 periods of ATR.
