Each range then acts as a [support and resistance zone](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/s-r-zone/) with context attached: not just where price reacted, but where participation ran unusually strong. ## How to Trade the Peak Activity Range? - **Breakout mode**: a bullish triangle prints on a close above the range high, a bearish one on a close below the range low: momentum escaping a high-volume zone. - **Retest mode**: signals wait for confirmation: a candle opening above the range high and closing back below it prints the bullish triangle, and a candle opening below the range low and closing back above it prints the bearish one. - **Solid midpoint line**: the average of the spike candle's range; crossing it resets the signal state so a new setup can arm. - **Dashed POC**: the most-traded price inside the range, a magnet and reaction level in its own right.
