Liquidity Reclaim Planner
Apr 30, 2026

The Liquidity Reclaim Planner indicator provides a chart-first liquidity planning engine designed to evaluate the strength and quality of price action following a liquidity sweep. It transforms raw sweep detection into a structured reclaim workflow by mapping failure lines, target corridors, and a proprietary reclaim score to help traders determine if a move has sufficient participation and room to continue.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to organize post-event liquidity context. When price moves through a confirmed swing high or low, the indicator registers a liquidity event and initiates a plan. Traders can monitor the visual output to determine the viability of a reversal or continuation.
- Liquidity Events: The script identifies buy-side (sweep of recent swing highs) and sell-side (sweep of recent swing lows) events.
- Reclaim Evaluation: Once a sweep occurs, the tool watches for a "Reclaim Pocket." It calculates a 0-100 score based on sweep depth, reclaim timing, volume response, and structural room.
- Planning States: The script moves through different states such as "Reclaim Watch" (waiting for strength), "Planner Ready" (high-quality setup), "Room Thin" (limited potential), and "Failure Hit" (price invalidated the reclaim).
- Visual Zones: It plots reclaim pockets (between the swept level and extreme), failure lines (invalidation points), and target-room corridors (path toward the next structural reference).
Details
The script operates on a multi-step methodology to ensure that liquidity events are not treated as isolated signals but as part of a broader structural context.
- Context Detection: Uses ATR-normalized pivots to identify active liquidity references.
- Scoring Model: The 0-100 score is non-predictive; it is a quality metric evaluating whether a reclaim happened quickly, with decisive candle closes, and supported by relative volume.
- Failure Logic: A failure line is established beyond the event extreme. If price crosses this line, the reclaim plan is marked as failed, signaling that the liquidity event did not result in a sustainable shift.
- Target Room: The indicator looks back at structure to estimate the "Target-Room Corridor," ensuring traders see if the path is clear or obstructed by nearby supply/demand.
Settings
- Liquidity Pivot Strength: Controls the sensitivity of swing high/low confirmation.
- Max Liquidity Level Age: Defines how long a swing reference remains valid for a sweep event.
- Sensitivity: Adjusts the selective thresholds for what constitutes a valid liquidity penetration and reclaim.
- Timely Reclaim Window: Sets the number of bars allowed for a "fast" reclaim, which contributes to a higher score.
- Planner Ready Score: The minimum score required to trigger the "Planner Ready" state.
- Minimum Target Room ATR: Sets the required structural space needed for the "Room" status to be considered positive.
- Confirmation Mode: Toggle between "Close Confirmed" (waits for bar close) or "Live Updating" (intrabar updates).
- Visual Settings: Customizable options for pocket transparency, forward rendering, failure line visibility, and panel location.
FAQ
How do I interpret the Reclaim Score? The score represents the alignment of quality factors: depth, timing, volume, and room. A score above the "Planner Ready" threshold indicates a high-quality structural reclaim, while lower scores suggest a fragile or low-participation move.
What does the Failure Line represent? The failure line is a structural invalidation level. If price breaches this line after a reclaim attempt, it indicates that the sweep was likely not a rejection and the original trend may persist or the setup is no longer valid.
