Candle wicks add a second read: breaks arriving on prominent wicks receive a bull or bear wick tag that hints at the character of the move. ## How to Trade the Support and Resistance Levels with Breaks? - **Tagged break above resistance**: price clearing a pivot level with the volume filter satisfied marks a break the market genuinely backed. - **Tagged break below support**: the same logic in reverse, a volume-backed breach of a pivot low. - **Bull or Bear Wick labels**: wick length at the break distinguishes bullish from bearish conditions, one more clue about momentum. - **Silent breaks**: a level that gives way without a tag failed the volume test; the indicator deliberately leaves such moves unmarked. Not every break deserves attention: plenty of levels fail quietly and reverse. By insisting on volume, the tool keeps your focus on breaks that reflect real participation and declutters the chart in the process. ## Support and Resistance Levels with Breaks Settings - **Left Bars**: the number of bars to the left of the pivot, setting the historical context of each level. - **Right Bars**: the number of bars evaluated to the right of the pivot. - **Volume Threshold**: the volume threshold percentage a break must exceed before it earns a signal. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### Why did a break happen with no signal? The Volume Oscillator sat below your Volume Threshold at the time, so the break was classed as noise. That is the core feature: the plain B tags are withheld from breaches without meaningful volume behind them. Bull Wick and Bear Wick labels are the exception, printing on wick-heavy breaks whatever the volume. ### Is there a version with more signal types? Yes.
