**Support & Resistance Zones Strength Classifier** turns scattered pivots into a ranked structure map. Pivot highs and lows landing near the same price are clustered into a single [S/R zone](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/s-r-zone/) rather than a fan of separate lines, and every zone is graded by how many times price has respected it, a practical spin on [zone scoring](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/zone-scoring-and-refinement/). Thickness adapts to volatility through average bar range, overlapping zones merge with their test counts combined, and any zone price closes through is removed on the spot.

Width comes from a volatility-adjusted distance based on average bar range, so faster markets get proportionally wider zones and quiet ones get tighter zones. It stays realistic across assets and timeframes without retuning.

### What happens when two zones overlap?

They merge into one consolidated zone and their test counts are added together, strengthening the level. Nearby reaction areas end up treated as a single pocket of interest rather than competing lines.
