This tool calculates the difference between price and the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) and then applies one of five advanced normalization algorithms:
- Deviation: Normalizes based on standard deviations from the mean, adjusting dynamically for current volatility.
- DNA (Dynamic Normalization Adaptive): Uses a non-linear scaling approach that adapts to market conditions, capturing both subtle shifts and extreme moves.
- Percentile: Ranks the current value within its historical distribution, providing context on how "extreme" the current price is relative to the recent past.
- RSI: Combines the relative strength index logic with VWAP differences to provide a momentum-driven normalized output.
- Hybrid: A sophisticated mode that averages the other methods when they agree in direction; it returns 0 (neutral) when signals are mixed, highlighting only the clearest trends.

- Show Grid Levels: Toggles the visibility of the horizontal reference lines (from -120 to 120).
- Fill Area: Enables or disables the color gradient fill between the oscillator and the zero line.
VWAP
- Source: The price data used for the VWAP calculation (default is hlc3).
- Period: The lookback period for the VWAP calculation.
- Normalization: Selects the mathematical method used to scale the oscillator (Deviation, DNA, Percentile, RSI, or Hybrid).
Smoothing
- Smooth: Enables a 5-period simple moving average to reduce noise in the oscillator.
- Period: The lookback period specifically used for the normalization calculations.
