# Wyckoff Distribution Schematic

Maps the distribution sequence live on the chart (PSY, BC, AR, ST, phase B upthrusts, UTAD or lower-high test, SOW and LPSY) via a state machine keyed to a prior uptrend, wide spread and climactic volume. Lettered phase zones shade the range, boundaries draw at the BC high and the ice, a markdown target projects on confirmation, and ten alerts cover the sequence.

**Wyckoff Distribution Schematic** is the definitive clean build of the [Wyckoff distribution schematic](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/concept/wyckoff-distribution-schematic/), mapping how markups end. A buying climax requires an established advance surging into new highs on wide spread and climactic volume; the automatic reaction's low sets support (the ice), the BC high resistance.

## How to Trade the Wyckoff Distribution Schematic?

- **UTAD / phase C test**: the final probe above resistance failing back inside is the classic risk-defined short area.
- **SOW then LPSY**: after a break through the ice on heavy spread and volume, a dull-volume rally stalling below is the phase D entry.
- **Failure upward**: sustained closes above resistance fade the labels and print Failed.

Mid-range, the dashboard reminds you this could still be re-accumulation; confirmed markdown solidifies the labels and projects a 1:1 target below the ice.

## Wyckoff Distribution Schematic Settings

- Display toggles: **Show Phase Dashboard**, **Phase Zones**, **Event Labels**, **Range Boundaries**, **Markdown Target Projection** (all on by default).

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What separates a UT from a UTAD?

Timing inside the cause is the whole difference. A failed push above resistance before Minimum Phase B Bars elapse is an ordinary upthrust; after the cause has built, the same failure becomes the terminal UTAD and opens phase C.

### Is this just the accumulation tool flipped?

The skeleton mirrors the [accumulation schematic](https://www.luxalgo.com/library/indicator/wyckoff-accumulation-schematic/), but distribution keeps its asymmetries. UT labels exist only on this side, and LPSY rallies are graded at the underside of the broken ice.

### Does it work without volume data?

Yes. With no volume, the climax, SOW and test checks fall back to spread-only signatures, and the dashboard says so. Volume is half the method, so prefer markets where it exists.
