# LuxAlgo Commercial Licensing: License, SLA, Procurement & Enterprise

## What is licensed

LuxAlgo licenses three things to teams building their own products: Vela™ Pro (proprietary extensions to the open-source Vela™ charting library: footprint and TPO charts, orderflow tools, watermark-free builds), PineTS (our open-source Pine Script® runtime, licensed commercially so it can be embedded closed-source, in-chart or headless), and the LuxAlgo Library (the largest indicator library ever published for the TradingView® ecosystem, cleared for commercial use). Pine Script® runs outside TradingView only through PineTS.

## Tiers

- Vela™ core: $0 forever, Apache-2.0, commercial use included. PineTS core: AGPL-3.0, free if you open-source your stack. Pricing: https://www.luxalgo.com/vela/pricing/
- Developer License (one seat, three licenses: Vela™ Pro, PineTS commercial, LuxAlgo Library commercial): $1,199 per developer per year, self-serve for companies under $500k annual revenue. Nothing is sold separately; headless products simply never use the chart. Royalty-free distribution, no per-end-user fees, priority support.
- Business: $20,000 per year flat, self-serve by card or Stripe invoice (ACH, wire, PO number, net-30). Unlimited developers, OEM and redistribution rights, white-label with zero LuxAlgo branding, Business support tier. For companies above $500k revenue with fewer than 100,000 end users and under $25M annual revenue. Optional custom legal review from +$10k.
- Enterprise: for brokers, exchanges, prop firms, and other regulated firms, platforms with 100,000 or more end users, companies with $25M or more in annual revenue, or anyone whose procurement needs its own MSA, a DPA, a written SLA, or a security review. Everything in Business plus your paper, the Enterprise Support & SLA tier with severity-based response targets and a Slack Connect channel, and multi-entity rights. ## Common questions

Q: Do I need to pay to use Vela™ commercially?
A: No. The core is Apache-2.0, free forever at any company size. Paid tiers add Vela™ Pro, PineTS commercial rights, Library commercial rights, and remove the attribution.

Q: Is PineTS free for commercial use?
A: PineTS is AGPL-3.0: free for anyone who open-sources their stack. Closed-source commercial use requires a seat.

Q: Do we need to talk to sales?
A: Not for seats or Business; both are fully self-serve with the procurement documents next to the buy button. Enterprise is the one tier that starts with a conversation.

Q: Does the software phone home?
A: No. Vela™ and PineTS are self-hosted components with no telemetry and no LuxAlgo server in your data path. License enforcement is legal, not technical.
