> The engineering behind LuxAlgo, in the open: the open-source core of Vela by LuxAlgo, PineTS for Pine Script®, and free trading tools including Trade Journal, Edge Stats, Prop Firm Sim, Broker SDK and the LuxAlgo MCP.

## Open Source

We build the tools of trading in the open: the open-source core of Vela by LuxAlgo, PineTS for Pine Script®, and the projects traders run every day.

## Projects

- [Vela’s open-source core](https://velacharts.dev/): The charting library behind Vela. The open-source core of Vela by LuxAlgo: production-grade charting for any app, with a native canvas renderer, a headless core, a batteries-included workspace, and a plugin SDK. License: Apache-2.0. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/Vela
- [PineTS](https://www.luxalgo.com/pinets/): Our open-source Pine Script® runtime. PineTS is LuxAlgo's open-source Pine Script® runtime. It executes native Pine Script® in Node.js and the browser, in your own app, bot, or server, and hands you the values back as plain JavaScript. License: AGPL-3.0-only. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/PineTS
- [Vela-PineTS](https://velacharts.dev/pine-script/): Native Pine Script® on the chart, through PineTS. Vela-PineTS is the official Vela™ addon that runs native Pine Script® v5 and v6 on the chart through PineTS: paste the script, get the indicator, with inputs, alerts, strategies and request.security() handled. License: AGPL-3.0-only. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/Vela-pinets
- [Edge Stats](https://www.luxalgo.com/edge-stats/): How often a setup actually worked. Edge Stats runs gap fill, opening range, and seasonality reports on your own market data, with the sample size and confidence interval attached to every answer. Free and open source. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/edge-stats
- [Trade Journal](https://www.luxalgo.com/trade-journal/): Record every trade, see what works. The open-source trade journal: broker sync, deep analytics, a P&L calendar, daily journaling with voice dictation, and AI reflection. Free inside LuxAlgo, or on your own machine. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/trade-journal
- [Prop Firm Sim](https://www.luxalgo.com/prop-firm-sim/): Know your odds before the fee. Prop Firm Sim runs ten thousand complete attempts of a prop firm challenge through the firm's exact rules: your pass odds, the rule that actually kills attempts, and what the journey will cost. Free, deterministic, open source. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/prop-firm-sim
- [Market Trackers](https://www.luxalgo.com/market-trackers/): The public record, as infrastructure. Market Trackers turns the public record of US markets (congress stock trades, insider filings, government contracts, lobbying, and patents) into one clean, free dataset, with every row linked to the government document it came from. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/market-trackers
- [Whale Options](https://www.luxalgo.com/whale-options/): Options flow that shows its work. Whale Options watches every options trade, flags the sweeps, blocks, and split orders that matter, and scores each one with the math shown in full. Free, open source, on your own machine. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/whale-options
- [Broker SDK](https://www.luxalgo.com/broker-sdk/): Every broker, one schema, your keys. The free, open-source bridge between your real brokerage and exchange accounts and any assistant or app: 22 brokers and exchanges, read-only by default, and your keys stay on your machine. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/broker-sdk
- [Trade Relay](https://www.luxalgo.com/trade-relay/): Alerts to broker orders, on rails. Trade Relay turns any webhook alert into a real broker order, with your own risk rules in between. Free, open source, and self-hosted, with every step recorded so you can always see why. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/trade-relay
- [LuxAlgo MCP](https://www.luxalgo.com/mcp/): The whole ecosystem, served as tools. Connect your agent to LuxAlgo once and it can explain any trading concept, read and write your trade journal, run prop-firm simulations, pull session statistics with the sample size attached, and search the public record of US markets. Free and keyless for everything public, one sign-in for your journal. License: MIT. Source: https://github.com/LuxAlgo/luxalgo-mcp-server
- [Every repository](https://github.com/LuxAlgo): Issues, releases and contributions, in the open.

## Honest by construction.

- **Every number carries its sample size.** Edge Stats and Prop Firm Sim put a sample size and a confidence interval on every percentage.
- **Historical frequencies, never predictions.** Statistics describe what happened. Simulations state their assumptions. Nothing here promises an outcome.
- **Your keys stay on your machine.** Broker SDK and Trade Relay read credentials from your own environment. The hosted LuxAlgo MCP carries no broker tools, on purpose.
- **Every row has a source.** Market Trackers links every row to the government document it came from.
- **No telemetry.** Trade Journal, Broker SDK, Trade Relay, Prop Firm Sim, Edge Stats and Whale Options send nothing home.

## Every project, one connection.

The LuxAlgo MCP serves the family as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client: the Library, your trade journal, prop-firm simulations, session statistics and the public record of US markets. Keyless for everything public, one sign-in for your journal.
