Twitter Model ICT MMXM ERL D + FVG + M15 MSS/SMT
Feb 3, 2025

The Twitter Model ICT indicator identifies liquidity-based trading opportunities by analyzing price movement between external and internal liquidity levels using ICT principles. It helps traders pinpoint high-probability entries by aligning Market Structure Shifts (MSS), SMT divergences, and Fair Value Gaps (FVG) with the previous day's high and low (PDH/PDL).
Usage
The tool operates by tracking price action relative to external liquidity levels. It is designed to be used primarily across the 1-hour (1H) and 15-minute (M15) timeframes.
- Bullish Scenario: Look for price to sweep the Previous Day’s Low (PDL). Once a bullish FVG forms on the 1H timeframe and a Market Structure Shift (MSS) occurs on the M15 timeframe, a long position is considered. SMT divergence with correlated assets provides further confirmation. Ideally, entries occur below the Midnight Open.
- Bearish Scenario: Look for price to sweep the Previous Day’s High (PDH). When a bearish FVG appears on the 1H timeframe and an M15 MSS is confirmed, a short position is considered. Entries are ideally executed above the Midnight Open.
- SMT Divergence: The indicator compares the current asset with a secondary symbol (e.g., Gold or correlated currency pairs) to find divergences that signal underlying trend strength or weakness.
Details
The Twitter Model ICT integrates several advanced price action concepts:
- External vs. Internal Liquidity: It views PDH/PDL as external targets and FVGs as internal magnets for price.
- MSS & SMT: Market Structure Shifts signal the reversal, while SMT (Smart Money Technique) divergence confirms if the move is backed by institutional flow.
- CISD Levels: The Change in State of Delivery (CISD) levels are used to identify where the market has shifted its delivery bias, providing structural support or resistance.

FAQ
How do I interpret the Midnight Open? The Midnight Open acts as a "fair value" anchor for the daily range. Generally, you look for longs below this level and shorts above it to ensure you are not chasing price.
Which timeframes are best for this indicator? While the logic is fractal, it is specifically optimized for 1H FVG identification and M15 Market Structure Shifts.
