Vela’s open-source core
The charting library behind Vela.
A native WebGL2 renderer, 70+ built-in indicators, a full drawing suite, multi-chart workspaces, and a plugin SDK. Developers embed it in their own apps and trading terminals.
PineTS
Our Pine Script® runtime.
Runs native Pine Script® v5 and v6 in Node.js and the browser, with no conversion step. It executes the Pine Script® on Vela, the entire Library included.
And a growing set of free tools, all open source.

A coding agent inside the chart
Quant sees and controls the chart it works on: it changes symbols, timeframes, and layouts, writes and repairs code, inspects the rendered result, and backtests in the same window.

Founded on open-source roots.
LuxAlgo begins as a small team of developers and traders publishing open technical analysis tools, built for the charting platforms traders already lived on.
2023
The front of technical analysis.
Hundreds of tools published, dozens of publisher awards, and a following of millions of traders across the open charting community.
2024
The Backtesting Assistant.
We launch our backtesting platform, built to advance what honest, bias-free strategy testing could be. The same year, our team is recognized in TradingView®’s Pine Script® Wizards program for our open-source community scripts.
2026
Quant.
We launch Quant, our coding agent: it reads the chart, writes and repairs indicator and strategy code, and proves it against history.

PineTS.
We acquire PineTS, bringing Pine Script® execution outside TradingView®, now at thousands of installs weekly across the open-source developer community.

Vela.
We launch Vela, our charting platform: state-of-the-art charts engineered in-house on an open-source core, with the full Orderflow suite built from real trades and every LuxAlgo tool built in.
The team.
Founded in Boston in 2020 and headquartered there today. We started as a small group of developers and traders publishing open technical analysis tools, and grew into the team that built Vela. We are a lean team of 10+, mostly engineers and traders, who use what we build.
