HTF Pivots Signals
Dec 30, 2025

The HTF Pivots Signals indicator provides a systematic approach to higher timeframe structure analysis and signal confirmation. This tool aims to help traders identify high-probability mean reversal opportunities by detecting interactions with major structural levels and confirming them with price action shifts on the local chart timeframe.
Usage
The indicator functions through a two-step process: interaction and confirmation. First, it identifies pivot highs and lows on a Higher Timeframe (HTF). When price mitigates one of these levels, a pending signal is generated. The setup is only confirmed when price closes beyond a specific chart timeframe pivot level (a pivot low for bearish signals or a pivot high for bullish signals).
Signal Identification
- HTF Mitigation: When price touches an HTF level, a potential reversal zone is established.
- OB+ (Bullish): Appears when price closes above a recent local pivot high after mitigating an HTF pivot low.
- OB- (Bearish): Appears when price closes below a recent local pivot low after mitigating an HTF pivot high.
Details
The system utilizes a non-repainting methodology to ensure reliability. It manages chart clutter through a mitigation-based cleanup system rather than age, meaning it prioritizes the most recent relevant interactions while removing older, less significant levels. For traders using multi-timeframe strategies, the tool automatically calculates an optimal HTF pairing (usually 15-16x the current chart period) to maintain consistent structural context.
Settings
- HTF Settings: Toggle between Auto Mode (dynamic timeframe selection) or Manual HTF selection.
- Mode Settings: Choose between HTF pivots, Session-based pivots, or a "Mix" mode that applies different logic depending on the timeframe.
