FA Valuation Dashboard

The FA Valuation Dashboard indicator provides a streamlined financial ratio analysis tool designed to help investors evaluate stock fundamentals directly on the chart.

Usage

The tool is used to monitor core fundamental metrics for equity symbols. It displays a dashboard on the chart containing key profitability, liquidity, and valuation ratios. Investors can use this to quickly identify if a stock meets specific quality and valuation benchmarks, such as high Return on Equity (ROE) or a low Price-to-Earnings (PE) ratio.

Details

The indicator retrieves data using the request.financial() function to calculate several key metrics:

• Profitability Ratios: ROA, ROE, and ROIC help assess how efficiently a company is using its assets, equity, and capital.
• Liquidity: The Current Ratio indicates the company's ability to cover short-term obligations.
• Valuation: PE, PS, and PEG ratios provide insight into whether a stock is overvalued or undervalued.
• Balance Sheet Items: Long-term Debt and Cash positions are displayed in millions for a quick health check.

The script includes built-in alert logic that triggers when specific "Magic Financial Ratio" criteria are met: ROA > 15%, ROE > 15%, ROIC > 15%, Current Ratio > 2, and PE < 10.

Settings

• On/Off Panel?: Toggles the visibility of the dashboard on the chart.
• Select Fiscal: Choose between Annual (FY) or Quarterly (FQ) data for the ROA, ROE, ROIC, and Current Ratio calculations.
• CAGR %: Allows the user to input a custom Compound Annual Growth Rate percentage used to calculate the PEG (Price/Earnings to Growth) ratio.

• Can I change the threshold for the alerts? The current version uses hardcoded thresholds (e.g., 15% for ROE/ROA) based on the "Magic Financial Ratio" logic, but the display remains updated regardless of whether these specific criteria are met.
