Boom Hunter - Entry Point Screener Alerts
Jul 31, 2021

The Boom Hunter - Entry Point Screener Alerts indicator is a multi-symbol scanning tool designed to identify potential entry zones across 18 different assets simultaneously. By utilizing complex filtering and normalized roofing algorithms, it provides traders with a streamlined way to monitor broad market opportunities from a single chart.
Usage
The Usage section focuses on how to configure and deploy the screener for optimal alert performance.
- Multi-Asset Monitoring: Enter up to 18 different ticker symbols in the settings to monitor them concurrently.
- Timeframe Specificity: The script scans the symbols based on the timeframe currently active on your chart. To monitor different timeframes (e.g., 1H and 4H), you must open the indicator on each respective timeframe and create separate alerts.
- Alert Configuration: To receive notifications, click the "Add Alert" button in the TradingView toolbar, select "Boom Hunter - Entry Point Screener Alerts" as the condition, and configure your preferred notification methods.
- Visual Warnings: On the chart where the script is loaded, small circles at the top represent entry point warnings (Green for potential Longs, Red for potential Shorts) for the main asset, while background processing handles the alerts for all secondary symbols.
Details
The script employs a sophisticated mathematical approach to identify entry zones:
- SuperSmoother Filter: Used to reduce noise and provide a smoother data line for calculations.
- Fast Attack - Slow Decay Algorithm: This mechanism tracks peaks in price action to normalize the output.
- Normalized Roofing Filter: The final output is processed through a roofing filter and a transfer function (Quotient Transform) to identify extreme oversold or overbought conditions, which are represented as "Entry Zones."
- Presets: The script includes different mathematical tunings (Blue, White, Yellow, Red) based on the original Boom Hunter and Boom Hunter Pro logic, adjusting the period and sensitivity of the filters.

FAQ
How do I receive alerts for all 18 stocks?
Once you have entered your tickers in the settings, you must create one alert using the "Alert" dialog box and selecting the indicator. The script will then internally loop through all specified symbols and trigger the alert if any meet the entry criteria.
Why do I need to create different alerts for different timeframes?
Pine Script alerts are bound to the timeframe on which they were created. To screen assets on a 15-minute basis and a Daily basis, you must set up the screeners on two different chart instances.
How can I access Boom Hunter - Entry Point Screener Alerts?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
