Vdub fx sniper strategy with alerts
Jun 4, 2018

The Vdub fx sniper strategy indicator is a comprehensive technical analysis tool designed to identify potential trend reversals and breakout opportunities by combining moving averages, multi-timeframe signals, and support/resistance levels.
Usage
The indicator displays several components on the chart to assist in trade identification:
- Signal Triangles: The primary entry signals are generated based on price action from a higher timeframe (Signal Timeframe). A green triangle up indicates a bullish signal, while a red triangle down indicates a bearish signal.
- Trend EMAs: Two Exponential Moving Averages are plotted on the chart. Their colors change dynamically based on their slope (Green for rising, Red for falling), providing a visual representation of the current trend momentum.
- Support & Resistance: Horizontal levels are plotted based on historical price extremes over a user-defined length, helping to identify potential targets or areas of price rejection.
- Candle Body Resistance: When enabled, the indicator highlights price levels based on historical high and low closes to define a trading channel.
- Hull MA: An optional Hull Moving Average can be toggled to provide an additional layer of trend smoothing and filter out market noise.
Details
The script integrates multiple methodologies to confirm market direction:
- Multi-Timeframe Analysis: By fetching data from a specified "Signal Timeframe" (defaulting to 720 minutes), the script looks for crossovers and crossunders of higher-timeframe opens and closes to generate entry signals.
- Trend Smoothing: The use of dual EMAs with directional coloring allows users to stay on the right side of the trend.
- Adaptive Calculations: The Hull Moving Average component uses a customizable base length and scalar to adjust its responsiveness to price volatility.
