Customizing Text

Positioning

The indicator features independent positioning for the text watermark and the symbol information. Users can choose from nine different grid locations (top/middle/bottom combined with left/center/right) to ensure the watermark does not obstruct price action or other technical indicators.

Details

The script is constructed using the TradingView table display type, which ensures the watermark remains fixed relative to the chart window rather than being tied to specific price coordinates or bars. This implementation allows the watermark to persist in the same visual location regardless of zooming or scrolling.

The logic dynamically fetches real-time data using syminfo.ticker and timeframe.period to generate the symbol information string. It also calculates the current date from the exchange time to provide a timestamp for the analysis. The indicator execution is restricted to the last bar (barstate.islast) to optimize performance and prevent unnecessary calculations on historical data.

• Symbol Settings: Controls the color, size, and alignment of the ticker and date display.
• Background: Sets the background color and transparency for the table cells.
