Dynamic EMA/SMA / MTF S&R Zones Toolkit with Alerts
May 16, 2025

The Dynamic EMA/SMA / MTF S&R Zones Toolkit with Alerts indicator provides a comprehensive market structure overview by combining multiple moving averages with automated multi-timeframe support and resistance zones. This tool is designed to help traders identify trend direction and key reaction levels for both scalping and swing trading strategies.
Usage
The Usage section highlights how to interpret the various visual elements provided by the toolkit:
- Trend Analysis: Use the customizable EMA/SMA suite (5, 9, 20, 50, 100, 200) to determine the short-term and long-term trend bias. An additional 50-period SMA filter can be toggled to confirm directional moves.
- Zone Interaction: The script automatically plots S/R zones across six different timeframes. Strong zones are color-coded differently from weak or broken zones, providing a visual roadmap of where price is likely to react.
- Trade Signals: Buy signals are generated when price action shows bullish reactions within support (demand) zones. Conversely, sell signals appear when bearish candles react to resistance (supply) zones.
- Market Filters: Users can enable the RSI oscillator or the Bullish/Bearish Candle Finder to add extra layers of confirmation before entering a trade.
Details
The script utilizes request.security to fetch high and low data from higher timeframes (5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 4H, 1D). It calculates dynamic heights for these zones based on a percentage of the timeframe's recent volatility.
The signal logic evaluates candle characteristics relative to these zones. A "Strong" zone is determined by the depth of price reaction and its proximity to the current price. When a zone is breached by price, it is visually marked as "broken" using a neutral color (grey), indicating a potential shift in market structure.

Can I set alerts for specific levels? Yes, the script includes a built-in alert engine that can be configured to notify you when price touches a support/resistance zone or when a buy/sell signal is confirmed.
