ICT Day/Week/Month Levels [MK]
Apr 28, 2023

The ICT Day/Week/Month Levels [MK] indicator automatically plots key historical and current price levels for multiple timeframes to provide institutional context for any trading strategy. It serves as a comprehensive toolkit for identifying high-probability reaction zones such as previous highs, lows, and midpoints, while maintaining chart clarity by projecting levels to the right of current price.
Usage
The tool is designed for day traders and swing traders who utilize higher timeframe institutional levels to frame their intraday setups. By default, it displays the Previous Day/Week/Month Open, High, Low, Close, and the 50% Equilibrium level.
Key features include:
- Previous Period Levels: Identifies PDH/PDL, PWH/PWL, and PMH/PML to find liquidity pools and target zones.
- Current Period Opens: Displays the opening prices for the current Day, Week, and Month, which are essential for determining bullish or bearish bias (trading above or below the open).
- NWOG Midline: Calculates and plots the New Week Opening Gap (NWOG) Midline, a specific level used in ICT concepts to identify price magnets and support/resistance.
- Visual Organization: All lines and labels are projected into the future (right of the chart) with adjustable offsets, ensuring that historical price action remains unobstructed.
Details
The indicator utilizes request.security to fetch data from higher timeframes (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, 3-Month, and 6-Month). The 50% levels are calculated as the hl2 (average of high and low) of the previous candle for that specific period. The NWOG Midline specifically tracks the gap between the Friday close and Sunday open, providing a unique institutional reference point. To ensure precision, price labels can be toggled on or off, and the line styles automatically update based on the user's aesthetic preferences.
