OT MTF Trend Dashboard 1.0
Apr 28, 2026

The OT MTF Trend Dashboard 1.0 indicator is a comprehensive trend-following system designed to filter market noise and identify high-probability entries by aligning volatility, momentum, and multi-timeframe directional data.
Usage
The script generates "Buy" and "Sell" labels based on a triple-filter logic. A bullish signal appears when the OT Bot (volatility filter) flips positive while the Master Supertrend is already bullish and the ADX is within the optimal trending range (15–45). Conversely, bearish signals require a bearish OT Bot flip, a bearish Supertrend state, and valid ADX values.
The Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Dashboard serves as a confirmation hub. Traders can use the "AVG" row to ensure the broader market sentiment aligns with their local chart signal. For example, a "Buy" signal on a 5-minute chart is considered higher probability if the Dashboard's AVG row and higher timeframes (1H, 4H) are also displaying a green "Up" status. The blue SMA 17 can be utilized as a trailing exit point; a close on the opposite side of this line may indicate a trend exhaustion before the main signal reverses.
Details
The indicator's logic is built upon three primary pillars:
- OT Bot (Sensitivity Filter): A custom volatility-based trailing stop that determines immediate trend direction. It includes a Heikin Ashi option to further smooth price action and reduce false signals.
- Supertrend (Main Trend Filter): Acts as the master trend orientation. Signals are only valid if they align with the current Supertrend state (Price above for Buys, below for Sells).
- ADX Filter (Strength Filter): Measures trend intensity. It restricts signals to a "Goldilocks" zone between 15 and 45, avoiding choppy markets (below 15) or overextended/reversal-prone trends (above 45).
- MTF Dashboard: Calculates trend status using EMA 20/50 crossovers and slope across timeframes ranging from 1 minute to 1 week.
