QuantFlow: Precision Fibonacci VWAP
Mar 27, 2026

The QuantFlow: Precision Fibonacci VWAP indicator provides a comprehensive mapping of market structure and volatility by combining MIDAS volume-weighting with Fibonacci expansion theory and Gaussian statistical analysis. It aims to identify high-probability reversal zones and institutional fair value across various timeframes.
Usage
The tool can be utilized for several trading styles, ranging from scalping to long-term swing trading.
- Mean Reversion: Traders can look for price action at the extreme Fibonacci bands (Levels 5 and 6). When price pierces these levels, highlighted by "Extreme Sparkle Markers" (✦), it indicates a statistical exhaustion point.
- Trend Following: Users can monitor candle colors; green candles indicate bullish momentum above the equilibrium zone, while red candles indicate bearish momentum below it. The MIDAS VWAP line serves as a dynamic benchmark for trend health.
- Institutional Anchoring: By using the "Date" anchor method, traders can track volume-weighted average price from significant events like FOMC meetings or earnings reports to see how institutional positions are developing.
Details
The script utilizes the MIDAS (Multidaily Institutional Digital Analysis Support) approach to calculate VWAP, which focuses on cumulative volume from a specific anchor point rather than a fixed periodic reset.
The volatility bands are derived from volume-weighted standard deviations multiplied by Fibonacci ratios (0.236, 0.382, 0.500, 0.618, 1.0, and 1.618). Furthermore, the integrated dashboard provides real-time Z-Score analysis, measuring price distance from the mean in standard deviations. This follows the 68-95-99.7 statistical rule to estimate the probability of price returning to the VWAP.
Settings
Anchor Settings
- Anchor Method: Choose between "Auto" (timeframe-dependent), "Timeframe" (fixed interval), or "Date" (specific starting point).
- Manual Timeframe: Defines the reset interval when the method is set to "Timeframe".
- Manual Date: Sets the specific starting timestamp for the VWAP calculation when using the "Date" method.
Fibonacci Multipliers
- Global Sensitivity: A multiplier applied to all Fibonacci levels to adjust the bands' width for different volatility environments.
- Fib Levels 1-6: Customizable multipliers for the six different band offsets.
Visual Styles
- Highlight Market State (Candles): Toggles the high-contrast candle coloring system.
- Ranging Zone Definition: Determines whether Fib Level 1 or Level 2 is used to define the neutral "No-Man's Land".
- Show Band Labels: Displays price and level labels on the right side of the chart.
- Table Settings: Options to customize the size, position, and transparency of the statistical HUD.
FAQ
How do I interpret the Z-Score in the dashboard?
The Z-Score indicates how many standard deviations the price is from the VWAP. A value higher than 2.0 suggests an extreme move that occurs less than 5% of the time, often signaling a potential mean reversion.
What do the star (★) markers represent?
The tiny star markers appear when the price crosses the central MIDAS VWAP line, signaling a shift in institutional control or a change in the short-term trend bias.
