The Multi Signal RSI MACD Gann indicator provides a comprehensive trend-following and momentum toolkit by combining Zero-Lag MACD, Gann High-Low filters, dual-timeframe RSI, and multi-layered Bollinger Band heat bands.

Usage

This tool is designed to identify high-probability trend reversals and continuation patterns. The script utilizes several visual aids to help traders interpret market conditions:

  • Momentum Heat Bands: The indicator plots multiple Bollinger Band layers (BBH2) and a standard SMA-based Bollinger Band. These create "heat zones" that highlight overextended price action or volatility expansion.
  • Zero-Lag MACD Background: The chart background shifts color based on the Zero-Lag MACD state, providing an immediate read on the short-term momentum bias.
  • Multi-Condition Signals: The indicator plots "B" (Buy) and "S" (Sell) labels based on three different logic sets (CD2, CD3, and CD4). These signals filter price action through the Gann High-Low activator and RSI zones to ensure momentum alignment.
  • Bar Coloring: Bars change color to reflect RSI and MACD confluence, helping to identify "Buy Zones" (Blue) or "Sell Zones" (Fuchsia).

Details

The script integrates several classic technical analysis concepts into a single overlay:

  • Zero-Lag MACD: Uses Double Exponential Moving Averages (DEMA) to reduce the inherent lag of standard MACD calculations, allowing for faster response to price changes.
  • Gann High-Low Activator: Acts as a trend filter. A buy bias is confirmed when the price closes above the Gann High SMA, while a sell bias is confirmed when it closes below the Gann Low SMA.
  • Dual Timeframe RSI: Checks the RSI on the current chart alongside a second user-defined timeframe (defaulting to 5 minutes) to ensure trend harmony across different horizons.
  • Bollinger Band Heat Bands: Uses a base multiplier and an increment to create multiple shaded zones, useful for identifying exhaustion points or "riding the bands" during strong trends.

Settings

MACD & Gann

  • Show zMACD backgd?: Toggles the background coloring based on the Zero-Lag MACD.
  • Macd DEMA (Courte/Longue/Signal): Parameters for the Zero-Lag MACD calculation.
  • Moving Average Period: The period used for the Gann High-Low filter.

Bollinger Bands & SMA

  • BB TF Resolution: The timeframe used for the primary BBH2 heat bands.
  • BB Base Multiplier/Increment: Controls the width and spacing of the heat band layers.
  • Bollinger Bands SMA Period/StdDev: Standard settings for the main Bollinger Band overlay.
  • SMA 1-4: Toggle and length settings for four independent Simple Moving Averages.
  • SMA & BB Timeframe: Allows for a specific multi-timeframe SMA and BB overlay.

RSI & Signals

  • Rsi Length (1 & 2): Period lengths for the dual RSI components.
  • 2nd RSI Timeframe: The timeframe used for the secondary RSI filter.
  • Show Gann/Rsi zone/buyzone/crossing: Toggles for different signal logic variations (CD2, CD3, CD4).

FAQ

How do I interpret the different "B" and "S" signals?

The signals represent different levels of confluence. CD2 focuses on basic zone transitions, CD3 requires strict alignment between Gann and RSI zones, and CD4 triggers on specific Gann and RSI crossovers.

Can I change the timeframe for the heat bands?

Yes, you can adjust the "BB TF Resolution" in the settings to see volatility bands from a higher timeframe on your current chart.
