Immediate Rebalance ICT No Imbalances - MTF Gaps
Oct 29, 2024

The Immediate Rebalance ICT indicator automates the identification of rapid market balancing zones to help traders spot trend continuations and institutional order flow without waiting for traditional gap retracements.
Usage
The indicator assists traders in identifying reliable trading signals by detecting and analyzing Immediate Rebalance (ImmR) zones. These zones represent price levels where demand or supply is met instantly, often indicating a high-probability trend continuation.
Bullish Structure (Demand Immediate Rebalance)
In a bullish scenario, the tool detects zones formed by two consecutive bullish candles with overlapping wicks. This signifies immediate demand where price balances instantly.
- Zone Identification: Look for the highlighted demand area. Due to the rapid balance, price often moves higher without revisiting the zone.
- Support Levels: If a revisit occurs, the percentage markers (specifically 50% and 75%) act as support levels for potential long entries.
Bearish Structure (Supply Immediate Rebalance)
In a bearish setup, the indicator identifies zones where two consecutive bearish candles have overlapping wicks. This signals immediate supply.
- Zone Identification: These areas suggest a high probability of trend continuation to the downside.
- Resistance Levels: If price retraces into the supply zone, the 50% and 75% levels serve as potential resistance points for short positions.
Details
The "Immediate Rebalance" concept is an advanced strategy within the ICT (Inner Circle Trader) framework. Unlike a Fair Value Gap (FVG), which leaves a price void that usually requires a fill, an Immediate Rebalance fills the gap within the same or subsequent candle. This instant balancing suggests that the market is in a state of high efficiency and strength, making the trend more likely to persist.
The tool implements various sensitivity filters using Average True Range (ATR) and candle body-to-wick ratios to distinguish between significant market imbalances and minor noise.
Settings
- ImmR Filter: Toggles the detection filter. When enabled, it allows users to choose from four sensitivity modes:
- Very Aggressive: Detects all qualifying overlaps.
- Aggressive: Filters zones based on a minimum ATR multiplier.
- Defensive / Very Defensive: Only highlights zones with specific candle body proportions and higher ATR volatility, focusing on higher-quality signals.
- Multi Time Frame: Enables the indicator to fetch and display data from a different timeframe (e.g., viewing 4H rebalance zones on a 15M chart).
