MTF Market Bias+ (Smart Multi-Timeframe Trend Dashboard)
Oct 9, 2025

The MTF Market Bias+ (Smart Multi-Timeframe Trend Dashboard) indicator provides a visual, data-driven overview of market direction across up to eight customizable timeframes to help traders identify trend alignment.
Usage
The tool is primarily used to confirm market direction by checking if multiple timeframes show a synchronized bias. Traders can monitor the dashboard for specific conditions:
- Strong Bullish Alignment: When all selected timeframes display a green (bullish) status, indicating a high-probability environment for long positions.
- Strong Bearish Alignment: When all selected timeframes display a red (bearish) status, indicating a high-probability environment for short positions.
- Consolidation: Mixed colors across the dashboard suggest a neutral or corrective market phase where caution is advised.
The script also features a "Majority Score" and summary row, which aggregates the data to show the prevailing trend. An optional background coloring mode can be enabled to paint the chart background according to this majority bias for immediate visual feedback.
Details
The script calculates market bias using one of three selectable logic methods applied across different timeframes via request.security. The "EMA Slope" method looks at the momentum of an Exponential Moving Average over a specific lookback period. "Price vs EMA" compares the current closing price to the EMA value for short-term strength assessments. The "EMA50 vs EMA200" method uses the classic golden cross/death cross relationship to define structural bias.
The implementation includes a real-time dashboard table that updates on the last bar, providing both the specific status per timeframe and an "Info" row detailing the current calculation settings.
