The One Trading Setup for Life ICT Sweep Session FVG indicator identifies high-probability trading setups based on institutional liquidity concepts, specifically targeting market structure shifts following session high or low sweeps. This tool automates the detection of PM session ranges, liquidity hunts, and the Change in State of Delivery (CISD) to pinpoint optimal entry points within Fair Value Gaps (FVG) or Order Blocks (OB).

Usage

The indicator is designed to trade the New York AM session by using the previous PM session as a liquidity framework. Users can look for the following scenarios:

  • Bullish Setup: Wait for the price to sweep the PM Session Low (13:30 - 16:00 EST). Once a Liquidity Hunt occurs and the CISD Level (Change in State of Delivery) is broken to the upside, the indicator identifies bullish FVGs or Order Blocks as entry zones.
  • Bearish Setup: Wait for the price to sweep the PM Session High. Following the sweep, a break of the CISD Level to the downside confirms the shift. The indicator then highlights bearish FVGs or Order Blocks for potential short entries.

The tool provides visual labels for the PM Session High/Low and draws active CISD levels, FVGs, and Order Blocks directly on the chart to assist in timing retracements.

Details

This implementation follows the "One Trading Setup for Life" concept popularized in ICT methodologies. It focuses on the transition between the PM session range and the subsequent AM open.

The logic operates in three phases:

  1. Range Definition: It identifies the highest and lowest points of the New York PM session.
  2. Liquidity Hunt: It detects when the price moves beyond these levels to capture stop-loss orders (Fake Breakout).
  3. Trend Confirmation: It monitors for a CISD break, which represents a shift in market delivery. Entries are filtered using FVGs and refined Order Blocks to ensure alignment with institutional order flow.

Settings

Logical Settings

  • CISD Bar Back Check: Determines the number of previous candles checked to identify the CISD Level.
  • Order Block / FVG / CISD Validity: Controls how many bars these zones remain active on the chart before expiring.
  • New York PM/AM Session: Customizable session times (defaulted to standard ICT session hours).

Order Blocks & FVG

  • Refine Order Block: Adjusts OB levels between "Defensive" and "Aggressive" logic for tighter or wider zones.
  • FVG Filter: A multi-step filter (Very Aggressive to Very Defensive) that removes smaller, less significant gaps.
  • Mitigation Level (OB/FVG): Allows the user to select the specific reaction point: Proximal (front), 50% (Mean Threshold/Consequent Encroachment), or Distal (back).

Display Settings

  • Demand/Supply Toggle: Enables or disables the visibility of bullish and bearish zones respectively.
  • Show CISD Options: Toggles for all, high-only, or low-only CISD levels with customizable colors.

FAQ

How do I use the CISD level for entries? The CISD level serves as confirmation. You should not enter as soon as it breaks; instead, wait for a retracement into a highlighted FVG or Order Block that forms after the break.

What is the difference between Aggressive and Defensive FVG filters? The "Defensive" setting narrows the FVG requirements, showing only more significant price gaps, while "Aggressive" displays more frequent, smaller gaps.
