The SMC Structures and FVG indicator provides a comprehensive toolkit for identifying Smart Money Concepts such as Fair Value Gaps, structural breaks, and key Fibonacci retracement levels. It is specifically optimized for automated workflows, featuring a JSON-based alert system designed for seamless integration with webhooks and external applications.

Usage

The indicator can be used to identify trend shifts and liquidity zones by monitoring structural changes and price imbalances.

Market Structure The script automatically identifies Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (CHOCH). Users can choose whether to confirm these breaks using the candle body or wick. When a new structure is formed, the tool calculates and plots specific Fibonacci retracement levels relative to the current high-low range.

Fair Value Gaps (FVG) Bullish and bearish imbalances are highlighted on the chart as boxes. These zones remain active until price action mitigates them. The indicator provides options to reduce the size of mitigated gaps or change their color to differentiate between fresh and tested liquidity zones.

Fibonacci Levels Five configurable Fibonacci levels are plotted to help identify potential reversal zones (Premium/Discount). The indicator includes a "tick tolerance" setting, allowing for precise alerts when price enters a specific proximity of a level.

Details

The script uses a standardized JSON format for its alert() functions, making it compatible with API-based trading bots or mobile applications. It tracks a historical number of structures and FVGs to keep charts clean while maintaining context. Calculations for structural highs and lows utilize dynamic lookback logic to ensure that significant swing points are captured regardless of volatility.
