The Order Block Matrix Trade Engine indicator provides an institutional-grade order block ecosystem that combines advanced liquidity mapping, dynamic volume-distribution visualization, and fully integrated automated trade-engine logic. The tool identifies high-probability accumulation and distribution zones through adaptive breadth analysis and transforms qualified reactions into fully managed trade setups with real-time performance analytics.

Usage

The indicator can be used to identify institutional interest zones and automate entry/exit logic based on order flow dynamics. Users can select between Breadth or Full candle modes to define zone boundaries and choose Touch or Rejection triggers for trade execution.

Liquidity Mountain Profiling

The script features a volumetric "mountain" rendering engine that visualizes liquidity density within each order block. Unlike standard rectangles, these formations represent volume concentration, helping traders identify the most significant price levels within a zone where absorption or participation occurred.

Trade Engine Execution

When price interacts with a qualified order block, the engine can automatically project trade entries, stop-losses, and take-profit targets.

  • Touch Entries: Triggers immediately when price enters the zone.
  • Rejection Entries: Waits for price to show a rejection candle before confirming the entry.

Mitigation Handling

To maintain chart clarity, the system employs smart mitigation logic. In Close mode, a zone is invalidated only when a candle body closes outside the block. In Wick mode, any price breach (liquidity sweep) removes the block immediately.

Details

The detection engine utilizes multi-candle structure analysis adjusted by ATR to isolate displacement. It calculates a dynamic strength multiplier for every block by normalizing its volume against a 20-period moving average of market volume. This allows the trade engine to prioritize high-conviction zones.

The visual architecture uses Gaussian distribution curves and sinusoidal modulation to simulate institutional liquidity concentration. To prevent clutter, the "Smart Block Overlap Resolution" framework prioritizes the most recent institutional zones and removes obsolete overlapping structures. All calculations use confirmed bar-state logic to ensure results do not repaint after the candle closes.

Settings

Order Blocks

  • Order Block Breadth: Sets the lookback period for identifying candle structures.
  • Method: Chooses between using the full candle body or a specific breadth-adjusted coordinate for zone boundaries.
  • Risk Method: Determines if the block is mitigated by a price Wick or a candle Close.
  • Maximum Order Blocks: Limits the number of active blocks displayed on the chart.
  • Window Mode / Bars: Optimizes performance by limiting the historical processing range.

Visual Settings

  • Mountain Detail: Adjusts the number of segments used to render the liquidity mountain.
  • Show Block Borders / Width: Toggles and adjusts the visibility of zone boundaries.
  • Show OB Volume Badge: Displays a label with total volume and strength multipliers.
  • Mountain Width / Height: Adjusts the horizontal and vertical scale of the volume visualization.

Trade Engine

  • Enable OB Trade Engine: Activates automated entry and exit tracking.
  • Entry Trigger: Selects between Touch (aggressive) or Rejection (conservative) entries.
  • Min Volume Strength: Filters trade setups based on the block's relative volume strength.
  • Take Profit RR: Sets the target profit as a multiple of the risk.
  • Stop Loss Mode: Chooses between "Block Edge" (structural) or "ATR" (volatility-based) stops.

Trade Stats

  • Show Trade Stats: Toggles the institutional performance analytics dashboard.
  • Stats Position: Determines the location of the dashboard on the chart.

FAQ

How do I interpret the "Strength" multiplier on the volume badge? The strength multiplier compares the volume of the order block to the average market participation. A value of 1.5x means the block contains 50% more volume than the recent average, indicating higher institutional conviction.

What is the difference between Breadth and Full mode? Full mode uses the entire candle range to define the order block, while Breadth mode uses a refined coordinate system based on the lookback settings to isolate the specific point of displacement.
