ICT Intraday Framework
May 2, 2025

The ICT Intraday Framework indicator is a comprehensive toolkit designed to automate the plotting of essential ICT intraday concepts, helping traders identify institutional liquidity and key time-based price levels. It simplifies the analysis of session ranges, daily gaps, and market imbalances to provide a structured view of intraday price action.
Usage
The Usage section highlights how to interpret the various automated elements provided by the framework. Traders can use these features to identify points of interest and potential reversal or continuation zones.
- Intraday Gaps (NDOG/NWOG): The tool automatically draws the New Day Opening Gap (NDOG) and New Week Opening Gap (NWOG). From 4:14 PM to 9:29 AM, a preliminary line is drawn from the 4:14 PM close. After 9:30 AM, the full gap is rendered with High, Mid, and Low price levels, which can be extended until the end of the trading day.
- Session Ranges: Highlights the Asian and London ranges, including midlines and Buy-Side/Sell-Side liquidity (BSL/SSL) levels. It also includes a 7-9 AM range feature to capture pre-market volatility.
- Imbalance Tracking: Automatically identifies and draws the "First Presented Imbalance" from the 9:30-10:00 AM window, providing key institutional reference points.
- Vertical Time Markers: Displays critical intraday time intervals (e.g., Midnight, 9:30 AM, 1:00 PM) to align price action with specific macro windows and killzones.
- Liquidity Monitoring: Features "Unfilled Liquidity Voids" and unswept session highs/lows to help traders anticipate where price might be drawn next.
Details
The script is built to follow specific ICT time-based rules, primarily using the 'America/New_York' timezone. It utilizes high-frequency calculations to determine range completion percentages and Average Daily Range (ADR) projections.
- Execution: Ranges are calculated dynamically based on user-selected start and end times.
- Visual Themes: Includes toggles for light and dark themes to ensure readability across different chart setups.
- Data Lookback: Users can define a lookback period (defaulting to 7 days) to maintain performance while viewing historical framework levels.
