MTF - Quantum Fibonacci ATR/ADR Levels & Targets
Aug 11, 2024

The MTF - Quantum Fibonacci ATR/ADR Levels & Targets indicator provides a comprehensive framework for identifying dynamic support, resistance, and price targets by blending volatility-based ranges with Fibonacci ratios. It aims to help traders find high-probability entry zones and exit levels based on multi-timeframe calculations of Average True Range (ATR) and Average Daily Range (ADR).
Usage
The tool calculates volatility boundaries to establish "Buy" and "Sell" zones. Traders typically look for price crossovers at the calculated Fibonacci Entry Levels (default 0.618) to trigger signals.
- Volatility Zones: Use ATR and ADR levels to gauge the current market stretch. Prices reaching these levels often indicate potential exhaustion or reversal points.
- Trend Confirmation: The optional EMA line can be used as a filter; for instance, only taking buy signals when the price is above the EMA.
- Target Management: Three distinct target levels are plotted (Target 1, 2, and 3), allowing for scaling out of positions as price reaches higher Fibonacci extensions.
- Risk Management: Integrated stop loss lines, derived from the average of ATR and ADR support/resistance, provide clear exit points for invalid trade setups.
Details
The script functions by fetching data from a user-defined timeframe (e.g., Daily) and applying it to the current chart. It calculates the ADR based on an EMA of absolute high/low values and the ATR using a standard RMA of the True Range.
The core logic centers around the avgStopLosses, which is the mean of the ATR/ADR resistance and support. Fibonacci ratios are then applied to the distance between this central point and the volatility boundaries to project entry and target levels. This creates a "Wave" structure that expands and contracts based on market realized volatility.

FAQ
How do I use the signals provided?
Signals are generated when the price crosses the Fibonacci entry levels. A buy signal occurs when price crosses above the upper entry level, and a sell signal occurs when price crosses below the lower entry level.
Can I use this on intraday timeframes?
Yes, you can set the "Timeframe" input to "Daily" or "Weekly" while viewing a 5-minute or 15-minute chart to see high-timeframe volatility levels projected on your intraday price action.
How do I get access?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
