Multi Timeframe Stochastic RSI Screener
Jan 26, 2023

The Multi Timeframe Stochastic RSI Screener indicator allows users to monitor the Stochastic RSI conditions of up to five different symbols across three unique timeframes simultaneously through a clean dashboard interface.
Usage
The dashboard displays the current Price, RSI, and Stochastic RSI (K and D) values for each selected symbol and timeframe. This tool is useful for identifying overbought or oversold conditions across multiple periodicities without manually switching charts.
- Color Coding: Cells automatically change color based on the proximity to threshold levels. Generally, green indicates oversold conditions, red indicates overbought conditions, and blue indicates neutral zones.
- Multi-Symbol Monitoring: You can enable or disable specific symbols to focus only on the pairs relevant to your trading strategy.
- Convergence Identification: By seeing three timeframes side-by-side, traders can look for "MTF alignment" where a symbol is overbought or oversold on multiple timeframes at once.
Details
The script utilizes the request.security() function to fetch data from different symbols and timeframes. The Stochastic RSI calculation is performed by first calculating the RSI of the price, then applying the Stochastic formula to that RSI output. Finally, the values are smoothed using a Simple Moving Average (SMA) to produce the %K and %D lines. The results are organized into arrays and displayed in a formatted table on the top right of the chart.
