Adaptive AI SuperTrend
Jan 28, 2026

The Adaptive AI SuperTrend indicator is a trend-following system that utilizes market regime detection and algorithmic intelligence to dynamically adjust its sensitivity based on real-time market volatility.
Usage
The Adaptive AI SuperTrend can be used as a standalone trend-following system or as a filter for existing strategies. It provides clear entry signals (Buy/Sell) based on trend flips or pullback confirmations.
- Trend Identification: The indicator plots a global trend line that changes color based on market direction. Green indicates a bullish regime, while red indicates a bearish regime.
- Consolidation Filtering: During periods of low volume or ranging price action, the indicator highlights the zone with gray "Consolidation Boxes." Traders should exercise caution during these periods and look for breakouts.
- Pullback Entries: In addition to trend flips, the script detects "buy the dip" or "sell the rip" opportunities using RSI 50-level crossovers within the current trend direction.
- Risk Management: Depending on the selected exit strategy, the tool will either provide specific ATR-based Take Profit and Stop Loss levels or use a Smart Trailing mode to capture extended trends.
Details
The indicator is built upon a "Wizard Engine" that incorporates several layers of market analysis:
- Adaptive Sensitivity: Instead of static multipliers, the script adjusts its internal parameters based on the selected aggression level (Conservative, Balanced, or Aggressive).
- Squeeze Momentum Logic: It uses a Bollinger Band and Keltner Channel squeeze module to identify market regimes, differentiating between trending and ranging states.
- ADX Confirmation: Trend signals are filtered by Average Directional Index (ADX) values to ensure entries occur during periods of sufficient momentum.
Settings
Strategy & Sensitivity
- Strategy Aggression: Selects between Conservative (slower, filtered signals), Balanced (standard), and Aggressive (high-frequency signals).
- Exit Strategy: Chooses between "ATR TP-SL" for fixed targets or "Smart Trailing" for following trends to exhaustion.
Risk Management
- Risk/Reward Ratio: Sets the multiplier for the Take Profit target relative to the stop loss.
- Stop ATR Multiplier: Determines the distance of the Stop Loss based on market volatility.
Visual Controls
- Show Consolidation Boxes: Toggles the visibility of gray boxes during ranging markets.
- Show Exit Labels: Displays "TP" or "SL" labels on the chart when a trade is closed.
- Show Target Lines: Enables/disables the projection of ATR-based profit and loss lines.
- Show Info Dashboard: Toggles the real-time analytics panel in the top-right corner.
FAQ
How do I use the Consolidation Boxes?
The boxes appear when price action is choppy. A breakout from these boxes, especially when confirmed by a trend signal, can indicate a high-probability trade.
What is the difference between the exit modes?
The ATR TP-SL mode provides specific, fixed targets calculated at the moment of entry. The Smart Trailing mode stays in the trade until the SuperTrend direction flips against your position.
