RSI, Estocastico e MACD
May 6, 2019

The RSI, Estocastico e MACD indicator provides a comprehensive multi-oscillator workspace by combining the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic Oscillator, and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) into a single panel to assist with momentum and trend reversal analysis.
Usage
The tool is designed to offer a consolidated view of market momentum. Traders can monitor the interaction between three classic indicators simultaneously:
- MACD Section: Observe the relationship between the MACD line, Signal line, and Histogram to identify trend shifts and momentum strength.
- Stochastic Section: Monitor the %K and %D lines to identify overbought or oversold conditions, typically localized within the 80 and 140 plot range (offset for visibility).
- RSI Section: Analyze the Relative Strength Index to gauge price velocity and potential exhaustion levels within its specific designated band.
By viewing these together, users can seek confluence; for example, a MACD crossover occurring at the same time as a Stochastic reversal from an extreme level can provide a higher probability signal than one indicator alone.
Details
This script implements a vertically stacked visualization where each oscillator is offset to prevent overlapping, allowing for a cleaner analysis of multiple data streams.
- MACD: Uses either EMA or SMA calculations depending on user preference to derive the difference between fast and slow moving averages.
- RSI: Calculated using the RMA (Relative Moving Average) method, adjusted by a visual offset for panel positioning.
- Stochastic: Computes the standard Stochastic K and D values using simple moving averages for smoothing.
