VWAP Vision
Apr 11, 2025

The VWAP Vision indicator provides a comprehensive trading framework for price analysis by combining Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with customizable volatility bands and momentum filters. It is designed to help traders identify trend direction, potential reversal zones, and high-probability liquidity levels across various market conditions.
Usage
The script is primarily used to identify overextended price conditions and trend shifts. Traders can monitor price interactions with the calculated bands to determine market regimes:
- Trend Identification: Use the anchor periods (Session, Week, Month, etc.) to align with specific trading horizons.
- Buy/Sell Zones: The indicator generates signals when price interacts with the volatility bands and crosses the Exponential Moving Average (EMA). A buy signal typically occurs when price crosses above the EMA while in the lower band zone, while a sell signal occurs when price crosses below the EMA near the upper bands.
- Volatility Analysis: The bands can be calculated using Standard Deviation, Percentage, or ATR, allowing the tool to adapt to different asset classes like XAUUSD, NAS100, or BTCUSDT.
- Confirmation Filters: Users can enable Volume and RSI filters to reduce false signals, ensuring entries occur only when momentum and participation align with the price action.
Details
The indicator calculates VWAP based on a selected anchor period, resetting its values at the start of each new session, week, or year. The volatility bands are dynamically projected from the VWAP baseline using one of three mathematical models (Standard Deviation, Percentage, or ATR). The internal logic includes a cooldown period between signals to prevent clustering during high volatility and integrates a take-profit (TP) alert system based on opposite band touches. Additionally, it features a multi-asset scanner that can track signals on other symbols directly from the current chart.
