HaP D-RSI
Dec 22, 2025

The HaP D-RSI indicator provides a comprehensive dual RSI oscillator framework designed to enhance momentum analysis through smoothed data, dynamic visual filling, and automated divergence detection.
Usage
The HaP D-RSI can be used to identify trend reversals and continuations across various markets. The tool operates in a separate panel and utilizes two RSI periods—a short-period (10) and a long-period (14)—alongside a 9-period EMA applied to the longer RSI.
- Momentum Strength: The dynamic filling between the RSI lines serves as a visual guide for momentum. Blue tones indicate bullish pressure, while red tones indicate bearish pressure.
- Reversal Trading: Look for regular positive (pu) or negative (nu) divergence labels. These occur when price makes a new extreme that the oscillator fails to confirm, suggesting a potential trend exhaustion.
- Continuation Trading: Hidden divergences (gpu/gnu) signal that the underlying trend is likely to resume after a brief pullback, offering high-probability entry points.
- Multi-Timeframe Analysis: Users can select a higher timeframe in the settings to view smoothed momentum data from a larger perspective on their current chart.
Details
The script calculates two distinct RSI values and applies an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) to the longer-period RSI to filter out market noise. The divergence detection logic uses pivot points (lookback left and right) to compare price peaks and troughs against oscillator peaks and troughs.
The detection includes four types of divergences:
- Positive Divergence (pu): Price Lower Low, RSI Higher Low.
- Hidden Positive Divergence (gpu): Price Higher Low, RSI Lower Low.
- Negative Divergence (nu): Price Higher High, RSI Lower High.
- Hidden Negative Divergence (gnu): Price Lower High, RSI Higher High.
Settings
- RSI Period Settings: Adjust the "RSI kısa Periyodu" (Short RSI) and "RSI uzun Periyodu" (Long RSI) to change the sensitivity of the oscillator.
- Periyot Seçimi: Multi-timeframe selection; leave blank for the current chart timeframe.
- Divergence Sensitivity: The "Pivot Lookback Right/Left" and "Lookback Range" settings control the accuracy and frequency of divergence labels.
- Visibility Toggles: Boolean inputs allow users to enable or disable specific divergence types (Positive, Hidden Positive, Negative, Hidden Negative).
