Traders Trend Dashboard
Aug 27, 2023

The Traders Trend Dashboard indicator is a comprehensive trend analysis tool that provides a multi-timeframe overview of market direction using moving average logic. By consolidating trend data from multiple intervals into a single visual dashboard, it allows traders to identify confluence and trend consistency across the market.
Usage
The dashboard displays symbols (🟢 for bullish, 🔴 for bearish, and ⚫️ for neutral) to indicate trend status based on the selected calculation method.
- Trend Confirmation: Traders can use the dashboard to find "confluence" where multiple timeframes align in the same direction, indicating a strong trend.
- Timeframe Flexibility: The tool supports a wide range of intervals from 1-minute scalping timeframes to Monthly swing trading timeframes.
- Visual Feedback: When the "Paint bars" setting is enabled, the chart candlesticks will change color to reflect the trend of the current timeframe, providing immediate visual feedback.
- Flat Detection: By enabling the "Try to catch flat" option, the indicator attempts to identify ranging markets, helping traders avoid false signals during low-volatility periods.
Details
The script offers two primary methods for trend identification:
- Direction of a single EMA: The trend is determined by comparing the current EMA value to its previous value.
- Comparison of two EMAs: The trend is determined by the crossover relationship between a short-term and long-term EMA.
The dashboard utilizes dynamic requests to fetch data from different timeframes efficiently. It also incorporates a Zero-Lag Exponential Moving Average (ZLEMA) and Symmetrically Weighted Moving Average (SMMA) logic for its optional flat-detection filter.

Can I change the moving average periods for the dashboard? Yes, you can adjust the EMA lengths in the "EMA Settings" group. These changes will be applied across all timeframes displayed in the dashboard.
