Trend Architect
May 12, 2026

The Trend Architect indicator is a multi-layer overlay and signal engine designed to provide comprehensive market structure analysis and high-conviction trading signals for active traders. It combines trend identification, volatility bands, and momentum filtering into a single interface to streamline decision-making on fast timeframes.
Usage
The Usage section highlights how to interpret the various visual layers and signal outputs. The indicator is designed to be used in either Simple or Advanced mode, allowing users to choose between streamlined toggles or granular parameter control.
Trend Cloud & Super Channel
The Trend Cloud acts as the backbone for long-term trend identification. A wide, opaque fill indicates strong trend agreement, while a narrowing cloud suggests weakening momentum. The Super Channel provides dynamic volatility boundaries. When price reaches these bands, the accent color highlights potential overbought or oversold conditions, signaling possible reversals or pauses.
PRISM Signal Engine
The PRISM engine generates B (buy) and S (sell) signals based on directional shifts. To ensure high-quality entries, every signal passes through several automated filters:
- Structure Lock: Pauses signals if short-term momentum opposes the trade, waiting for confirmation before firing.
- Bar Quality: Ensures the triggering candle closes decisively in the signal direction.
- Quality Gate: Downgrades signals to small dots when market efficiency is low or momentum is flat.
- Trend Regime Gate: Suppresses counter-trend signals when a strong directional regime is established.
Details
Trend Architect utilizes an Auto-Optimizer that runs three parallel versions of the signal engine at different lookback lengths (short, mid, and long). It scores these versions based on recent price movement relative to ATR tiers, continuously weighting the most effective length for the current market environment.
The indicator also features Custom Candles, specifically the R-Squared Adaptive Linear Regression type. This method smooths price action during trends while staying close to real price during chop, avoiding the displacement issues found in standard Heikin Ashi candles. Additionally, the Boundary Forecast uses regression or slope extension to project potential structural levels a few bars into the future.

FAQ
How do I hide my default candles? To use the custom indicator candles properly, right-click your chart, go to Settings > Symbol, and uncheck Body, Borders, and Wick.
What is the difference between a full signal and a dot? A full B/S label indicates a high-conviction setup where all filters are met. A small dot indicates a signal candidate that occurred during weak market conditions or against the prevailing trend regime.
