ICT KillZones Hunt 4 Sessions + OB + FVG + Alert
Jun 6, 2024

The ICT KillZones Hunt tool provides a comprehensive technical analysis suite designed to identify high-probability trading windows across four major sessions while automatically plotting institutional supply and demand zones. It integrates core "Smart Money" concepts like Order Blocks (OB) and Fair Value Gaps (FVG) to help traders pinpoint optimal entry points during peak market volatility.
Usage
The indicator is designed to streamline the Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodology by visualizing critical time and price levels.
- Kill Zone Strategy: After a kill zone concludes, the script stabilizes its high and low lines. If the price returns to touch these lines within the same session and shows a strong rejection, it can signal a potential trade entry.
- Order Blocks: The script identifies "buy" opportunities in demand order blocks and "sell" opportunities in supply order blocks. These blocks are often the result of large institutional orders being split into smaller positions.
- Fair Value Gaps (FVG): These represent market imbalances where price moves rapidly with little liquidity. The indicator highlights these ranges, which often act as magnets for price or areas of support/resistance.
- Session Management: To minimize overlap, sessions are meticulously timed (e.g., London ends at 14:25 to make way for the New York 14:30 open).
Details
This tool automates the detection of price action structures within specific time-based constraints.
- Time-Locked Logic: All Order Blocks and FVGs originate strictly from within a designated kill zone and extend only to the end of that specific session, ensuring the data remains relevant to the current trading cycle.
- Refinement Engine: Users can choose between "Defensive" or "Aggressive" refinement modes for Order Blocks to better align the zones with their specific risk tolerance.
- Filtering: The FVG filter allows traders to ignore "noisy" gaps by selecting a width-based threshold, ranging from Very Aggressive (capturing more gaps) to Very Defensive (capturing only significant imbalances).
Settings
Global Setting

Logic & Display
- Pivot Period: Sets the lookback period used to identify the structural pivots for Order Blocks.
- Validity Period (Bar): Determines how many candles an OB or FVG remains active before it is considered expired.
- Mitigation Level: Defines whether a zone is considered "mitigated" (closed) when the price touches the Proximal edge, the 50% Mean Threshold, or the Distal edge.
- Refine OB: Enables a focused range display for supply and demand zones based on internal candle structures.
Session & Alerts
- Asia/London/New York Sessions: Individual toggles to show/hide specific sessions and their respective kill zones.
- Alert Configuration: Comprehensive alerts for session high/low touches and the mitigation of supply/demand zones.
- Message Frequency: Controls alert triggers (All, Once Per Bar, or Once Per Bar Close).
- Alert Time Zone: Allows the timestamp in alert messages to be adjusted to any UTC offset.
FAQ
What are the specific times for the Kill Zones? The default UTC times are: Asian (23:00-03:55), European (07:00-09:55), New York Morning (14:30-16:55), and New York Evening (19:30-20:55).
How does the mitigation logic work? A zone is removed or marked as filled once the price reaches the "Mitigation Level" defined in the settings (default is often set to the 50% midpoint of the zone).
