The Zindarra Multi Alerts Advanced (8 Symbols, 8 Levels) indicator enables users to monitor and configure multiple alert levels across eight different assets simultaneously on a single chart. This tool provides a centralized hub for multi-asset management by allowing users to normalize price scales, shift visual representations, and set custom alert conditions for various symbols.

Usage

The Usage section focuses on setting up the multi-asset alert system and interpreting the visual outputs. To use the indicator:

  1. Configure Symbols and Levels: Input up to 8 ticker symbols and their corresponding price levels in the settings.
  2. Visualization: Choose between line or candle displays for each symbol. If tickers are vastly different in price (e.g., BTC and EURUSD), use the Normalize setting to compare them on a 100% scale.
  3. Alert Setup: To receive system notifications, you must manually create an alert in the TradingView "Manage Alerts" panel. Select the indicator as the condition and set the trigger to "Once Per Bar" or "Once Per Minute."
  4. Managing Levels: Use the Scale and Shift settings to move symbols vertically, allowing you to stack assets in horizontal zones or overlap them for direct comparison.

Details

The indicator is designed to overcome standard platform limitations regarding multi-asset scaling.

  • Normalization: By normalizing assets to a baseline (100% over a specific lookback range), users can compare the relative performance of different asset classes. Note that normalization will also adjust the visual position of alert levels accordingly.
  • M:M Relationship: You can assign levels to symbols in any combination (e.g., 4 levels for 1 symbol and 1 level each for 4 others) by repeating the ticker name in the input fields.
  • Penetration Modes: The tool supports different trigger types. For "High/Low" sources, it uses directional penetration (crossover for highs, crossunder for lows). For "Close" sources, it defaults to bidirectional crossing unless specified as "Cross Up" or "Cross Down."

Settings

General Settings

  • Show Alert Levels: Toggles the visibility of the horizontal alert lines.
  • Hide Already Triggered Levels: When enabled, levels that have been hit will disappear from the chart to reduce clutter.
  • Trigger Alerts Only After a Confirmed Close: Ensures alerts only fire when a bar closes beyond the level, preventing false signals from intra-bar volatility.
  • Normalize: Rescales all assets to a 100% range for relative comparison.
  • Normalization Bars Range: The lookback period used to calculate the normalization baseline.

Symbol and Level Configuration

  • Ticker 1-8: Input fields for the assets you wish to track.
  • Level 1-8: The price levels at which alerts should trigger.
  • Alert Type: Defines the logic (Cross, Cross Up, or Cross Down) for each level.
  • Source Type: Choose between "Candles" or "Line" for the symbol's visual representation.
  • Scale/Shift: Adjusts the vertical size and position of specific symbol plots.

FAQ

How do I receive notifications on my phone or browser? You must manually create a TradingView Alert using the indicator as the condition. The indicator provides the logic, but the TradingView alert engine handles the actual notification delivery.

Can I use this to track more than 8 symbols? The Advanced version is limited to 8 symbols and 8 levels. For more capacity, you would need to apply multiple instances of the indicator or use a version with higher limits.

How do I access the Zindarra Multi Alerts Advanced (8 Symbols, 8 Levels) indicator? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
