Usage

The Usage section focuses on identifying key trading windows and benchmark levels throughout the trading day. Users can leverage this tool to visualize:

• Midnight Opening Price: A crucial reference point for daily bias and direction.
• London Session & Kill Zone: Displays the London open and specific Kill Zone timing with optional background shading or line markers.
• New York Session & Kill Zones: Highlights the AM and PM Kill Zones, along with the Equities open price (9:30 AM NY time).
• Previous Day High/Low: Automatically plots the high and low of the previous day, with an option to calculate these based on New York Midnight time for precise alignment.

Details

The script executes logic based on New York time (America/New_York) to ensure consistency regardless of the user's local chart settings. It tracks several "Kill Zones" and session opens, including:

• London Kill Zone: 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM NY Time.
• NY AM Kill Zone: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM NY Time.
• NY PM Kill Zone: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM NY Time.
• Equities Open: 9:30 AM NY Time.

The indicator also includes built-in labels for the days of the week at the midnight vertical, helping traders maintain a clear view of the weekly profile.

Settings

General

• Show Days of The Week: Toggles the display of "Mon, Tue, Wed..." labels at the bottom of the chart.
• Kill Zone Look: Choose between "Background" shading or a "Line" (square plot) at the bottom.
• Previous Day Low/High: Enables the display of the previous day's extreme price levels.
• NY Time?: If enabled, calculates daily highs and lows starting from New York Midnight.
• Midnight/Equities: Toggle options for the vertical lines and horizontal open price levels for Midnight (00:00) and Equities Open (09:30).

London & New York

• Session: Toggles the background highlight for the entire session duration.
• Open / Algo Open: Toggles the horizontal price line for the session opening price.
• KZ / AM KZ / PM KZ: Toggles the specific Kill Zone highlights for London and New York sessions.

Why do the levels not align with my local time?

The script is hardcoded to use "America/New_York" time to follow ICT methodologies accurately. For the best visual experience, it is recommended to set your TradingView chart timezone to New York.
