SSL Hybrid Scalper
Nov 6, 2025

The SSL Hybrid Scalper indicator provides optimized buy and sell signals specifically designed for gold (XAUUSD) on lower timeframes by combining exponential moving averages, trend filtering, and momentum oscillators.
Usage
The SSL Hybrid Scalper is primarily used to identify entry points during trending market conditions on timeframes ranging from 1 minute to 15 minutes.
- Long Signals: Occur when the Fast EMA crosses above the Slow EMA while the price is above the Trend Filter EMA and the RSI is not yet in overbought territory.
- Short Signals: Occur when the Fast EMA crosses below the Slow EMA while the price is below the Trend Filter EMA and the RSI is not yet in oversold territory.
Users can interpret the relationship between the Fast and Slow EMAs to gauge immediate momentum, while the thicker Trend EMA serves as a baseline for the overall market direction.
Details
The script utilizes a triple-confirmation logic to filter out noise commonly found in scalping environments:
- Crossovers: A classic momentum trigger using two EMAs (Fast and Slow).
- Trend Filtering: A long-term EMA ensures that signals are only generated in the direction of the broader trend, reducing the risk of trading against the market flow.
- Momentum Constraint: The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is used to prevent entering a trade when the market is potentially overextended (overbought for longs or oversold for shorts).
Settings
