The ICT KillZones + Pivot Points Support/Resistance tool provides a comprehensive framework for identifying high-probability trading zones by combining traditional pivot point calculations with ICT-inspired session kill zones. It aims to highlight key price levels where institutional activity and liquidity shifts are most likely to occur.

Usage

This indicator can be utilized through several strategic approaches:

  • Pivot Point Breakouts: Traders monitor price action as it breaks through central pivot (PP) or support/resistance levels. An upward breakout may signal a shift toward bullish sentiment, while a downward break suggests bearish momentum.
  • Price Reversals: By observing how price interacts with S/R levels (like R3 or S3), traders can identify exhaustion points for potential counter-trend entries.
  • Kill Zone Hunt: Traders mark the high and low of a specific Kill Zone (e.g., London Kill Zone). If the price rejects these boundaries after the session concludes, it can signal a reversal trade.
  • Trend Following: During high-volume periods like the New York Kill Zone, traders can use the established trend and pivot levels to find entries at demand or supply zones.

Details

The script integrates two primary technical concepts:

  1. Pivot Points: These are static levels calculated from the previous day's price data (Open, High, Low, Close). The tool supports four calculation methods:
    • Floor: The standard method using three support and resistance levels.
    • Woodie: Places higher weighting on the closing price.
    • Camarilla: Focuses on eight levels specifically designed for intraday reversals and breakouts.
    • Fibonacci: Uses Fibonacci ratios (38.2%, 61.8%, 100%) applied to the previous range.
  2. ICT Kill Zones: These represent specific time windows (Asian, London, and New York) where market volatility and liquidity typically spike, often resulting in the "Judas Swing" or the day's high/low.
