CM_Ultimate_MA_MTF - Modified w Signals
Nov 26, 2017

The CM_Ultimate_MA_MTF - Modified w Signals indicator provides a comprehensive multi-timeframe moving average toolkit designed to identify trend direction and potential entry/exit points through crossover signals.
Usage
This tool can be used to monitor trends across different timeframes without switching charts. By selecting a higher timeframe in the settings, users can see macro trend lines overlaid on their current candle data.
The indicator features two distinct moving averages. When both are enabled, it serves as a crossover system. A "BUY" label appears when the primary moving average crosses above the secondary moving average, while a "SELL" label appears when it crosses below. Users can also enable color-coded lines that change based on the slope/direction of the averages to quickly identify bullish or bearish momentum.
Details
The script allows for seven different types of moving averages, including popular variations like SMA, EMA, and WMA, as well as more advanced options like Hull MA, VWMA, RMA, and TEMA.
The implementation utilizes the request.security function to fetch data from different resolutions. It also includes a smoothing parameter for the color transitions, which prevents rapid flickering of colors during sideways price action by comparing the current value to a user-defined historical lookback.
