This indicator solves that by making the length dynamic. It integrates the Relative Volume Strength Index (RVSI) to determine volume breakouts. When volume surges, the basis length adjusts to fit the price action more tightly, whereas low volume causes the bands to underfit, providing a more realistic volatility measurement. The use of AEDSMA further reduces lag, making it more adaptive than standard SMAs.

Basis (AEDSMA) Parameters

  • Minimum/Maximum Length: Defines the range for the dynamic lookback period.
  • EDSMA Settings: Adjusts the Super Smoother Filter length and poles for the underlying moving average.
  • StdDev: Sets the multiplier for the band width (volatility).
  • Adapt Dynamic Length Based on: Choose whether Volume, Volatility, or both drive the length adjustment.

RVSI Parameters

  • Volume Oscillator Type: Select between Klinger, TFS, OBV, CVO, or VZO to drive the volume analysis.
