EMA Gate & Trend Alignment

The indicator uses a Fast EMA and a Slow EMA to create a directional "gate." BUY signals are only valid when the Fast EMA is above the Slow EMA, while SELL signals are restricted to when the Fast EMA is below the Slow EMA. This ensures entries are always aligned with the medium-term momentum.

Range Filter Engine

The Range Filter serves as a dynamic baseline. When price is above the filter and the filter is rising (highlighted in green), bullish pressure is present. Conversely, when price is below the filter and it is falling (highlighted in red), bearish pressure dominates.

Signal Confirmation

Signals are generated only after a candle closes to prevent repainting. A BUY label appears when the price crosses above the Range Filter while within a bullish EMA Gate. A SELL label appears when price crosses below the Range Filter within a bearish EMA Gate. Users can further restrict these signals by enabling the EMA 200 Trend Filter or the Bollinger Filter.

Bollinger Filter
