3C QFL Mean reversal
Jul 22, 2022

The 3C QFL Mean reversal indicator is a mean-reversion tool that identifies panic selling moments to execute trades below base support levels. It combines the Quickfingersluc (QFL) strategy with a built-in Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) engine to manage positions during market volatility.
Usage
The script is designed for traders looking to capitalize on price "cracks" below established support levels.
- Base Identification: The indicator automatically identifies "Base levels" (the lowest price reached before a strong upward reaction). When price falls below this base by a user-defined percentage, a "Deal Start" signal is triggered.
- DCA Management: It simulates a multi-level safety order system. If the market continues to move against the position, the script calculates and executes safety orders based on volume and price step scales, similar to 3Commas bot configurations.
- Directional Trading: While primarily used for Long positions to catch dips, the tool can be toggled to Short mode for mean-reversion during parabolic moves.
- Risk Management: Users can define a maximum number of safety orders and a hard stop-loss percentage to protect total account capital.
Details
The strategy is optimized for higher timeframes such as 1H, 2H, and 4H, though it remains functional on lower timeframes for scalping. Unlike native TradingView backtesting which can suffer from slippage in complex DCA scenarios, this script utilizes an internal calculation engine for average price and profit tracking. It includes a graphical interface that displays active bases, safety order levels, and a comprehensive trade summary table.
